Yachtingtype, I hadn't even heard the hum or clicks -- have only listened to it in the car so far. I have to agree with Sean -- does anyone listen to these? I mean, my sound editing skills are rudimentary and I could have done better.

Put your head set on mojowkn, to the naked ear you cannot hear the noticeable flaws but I can assure you they are there and it makes the listening experience less enjoyable. On a related note, wasn't this album released on CD at some point? They could have just lifted the tracks from that CD and used them.

Totally agree with Yachtingtype. The original album definitely was already released on cd, why couldn't they take the songs directly from that. They should have just ask around. What a bummer!

The sound is not great.
They should've tried to get someone to lend them the rare Japanese cd issue of Some People.

It's just pure laziness on their part, but this was to be expected.

Sorry if I gave the impression that I didn't believe you! What I meant to say was this: I thought the sound sucked already, how could it be worse? Oh, that's how. Alas.

While we're on the topic of Belouis Some, does anyone have any insight into an alternate mix of Round Round? According to this site, three was a double 7" single released with Round Round as a b-side, and it's a different mix than the one on Pretty in Pink:

May be my ears do not hear . May be i have problem with my audio. Not! They are bummers. Sound as on the old Chinese cassette tape.

Post your reviews on amazon and amazon.co.uk, preferably in a straightforward factual manner rather than a hysterical rant. Maybe CR will listen, but probably not.

Thank God it's not just me. It sounds rubbish... the 'Imagination' 7" and 12" sound fantastic but the tracks either side are so muffled and thick with an awful muddy sound... I'm so disappointed.
