I was going to start a similar thread but also was going to mention that not only do I want to see these reissued but remastered, as in this day and age there's no reason NOT to do so.
"Heartland" - Real Life - It was reissued a few years ago by the band, I think, but the sound quality was no better, maybe slightly worse, than the German Curb release.
"Teenage Heartbreak+Love Too Late" - Sorrows - Okay, it's power pop but really good power pop.
"The Sponsors" by same - Not exactly power pop but a good pop album.
"Too Late at 20" - The Act - Typical new wave, it was an eclectic album of pop, reggae, folk-pop, etc., all catchy nonetheless.
"State of Shock" - The Elektrics - Their first album was good but their second was even better.
"Thin Red Line+Snap! Snap! Snap!" - The Cretones - If this didn't come out as a two-fer at least I'd want Snap! on CD.
"Beauty and the Beat" - The Go-Go's - It's beyond me why this hasn't been remastered as their other two subsequent CD's have.
"High Land, Hard Rain" - Aztec Camera - One of the first CD's I ever owned, and there have been subsequent reissues but has this classic ever received a proper remastering?
"Mirror Moves" - Psychedelic Furs - The first two albums were reissued and remastered but then they stopped coming. Is that it?
"Crowded House" - same - Yes, a few of the album's songs have appeared in remastered form on compilations but I would love to have the entire album remastered.
"Playground" - The Truth - They missed the Mod bandwagon by about 5 years but when it comes to good music it's still better late than never.
"Ricochet" - Modern English - Supposedly "remastered" in the early 90's but it sure didn't sound like it - the volume is woefully inadequate. It deserves remastering after 15 years.
