Licensing issues prevent EMI from reissuing Computer World, Techno Pop, or The Mix in the U.S. as individual titles.

Does that mean these will be available as individual imports?

Heh heh, when I first looked at the picture of the cover, I had to wonder if something was wrong with my eyes.

I guess that would include Canada as well, since those three albums were also released by Elektra/Warner here.

Asides from the box, I'm guessing that there won't be anything special about getting them as a set.

Most likely. And it's also possible that Rhino will issue those WB-era titles separately on their own. I have a feeling that the discs in the box will be either manufactured by WB, or at least have a WB/Rhino logo on them.

I got an email via a mailing list today, the guy said "Kraftwerk remasters out 6th October. Technopop is the only album to have a bonus track (House Phone)" I don't know where he got that info, but I agree with Gary Russell on this board, who said "Boo. Missed opportunity..." !

Anyone found either the German or English box-sets for pre-order yet? Or have any idea of the price?

I'm "disturbed" by the new cover artwork, especially for "TEE" and "Man Machine"! Any clue if this artwork is final or...?

The new artwork is on a cardboard slipcase, with the original on the CD booklet frontpage (although Computer World has the original on the slipcase and new on the booklet).

Got the German issues of MM & CW and they sound amazing to me, no hiss, and tracks like Heimcomputer and Die Roboter have a real kick to them.

Can't wait for the box set.

The reissues are now on Spotify. The only contentious thing I've noticed so far is that the original 8 minute version of The Telephone Call on Technopop has been replaced with an edited remix that leads into Housephone. I think it works quite well, but anyone looking for the original version with improved sound quality might be a bit disappointed.

November Uncut gives most of the remasters a scathing review. And Uncut rarely even comments on remastering quality.
