Duran Duran reissuing 'Notorious,' 'Big Thing'

Looking forward to hearing the 7" and 12" versions of Big Thing.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does 'Nocymb' mean?

The album is all over the internet for download. Go grab yourself a copy and stick it up those EMI bastards.I was wondering what Nocymb meant as well.[?]

budaniel, thanks for doing the track-by-track check. I have been meaning to do so and I appreciate your saving me the time! I agree -- I am happy to see reissues but not when they're not adding anything new (and in many cases sounding worse).

"I Believe/All I Need To Know (Medley) [Full Version]" 6:17

More than a minute longer than the released B-Side version. It has a slightly extended instrumental section with harmonica, and a long ending that goes on forever.

Not sure why...but, the Original Mix was swapped with the regular album version, and the album version is labeled as Remix on the bonus disc. Huh?

Has anyone ever wondered what "Interlude One" was all about? I can't believe I didn't think about it earlier, but I slowed the track down 46.5%, and this is what I got...

http://www.4shared.com/audio/a8aEkUzD/I ... d_465.html

I amplified the track, as it has a long fade in and fade out, and since it is so short in length.

In the beginning, the keyboard sounds like "A View To A Kill". Does anyone else hear something, or have any info on this track?

According to the HMV website the 2CD / DVD editions have a list price of £26.99. Are EMI mental?

That Big Thing has been all over the net now for over a month to download. Quite frankly i couldn't care less if they keep delaying these releases as i wasn't going to buy them anyway and i would ask people not to buy them either after that crap EMI served us up with the last time. They are £19.99 each on Amazon and they can stick them up their arses.
