I just discovered this band, surprised it hasn't been mentioned before. They have definite Echo & the Bunnymen influences, and my favorite so far is Explosions:

The Mary Onettes

Probably not mentioned here since they have their own thread.

Easy to miss. I had no idea there were 18 pages in the "Next Wave" section until I searched for The Mary Onettes thread.

I'd have to say "The Companion" is my favorite from this album. Though now that you brought it up, I'll have to give the whole disc a listen again today.

"Animal" by Miike Snow is so great. The whole album is worth listening to.

Currently "Wonderful Life" by Hurts is really big all over Europe; and all those who love that song might also like "I will follow you" by Schiller. Very late 80s.

Now I know what happened...I searched for Onettes and no results came back. Did you know that when you search "All Forums", nothing gets returned, but when you limit your search to one forum, the same search returns results?

Dj Lestat
I like this one from Plush Guns
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dj4yhpvhyY

Here's a cool song, the chorus reminds me of a Fleetwood Mac
song/fell.
