"Sherry" by The Four Seasons on the day I was born. Never been a big fan of Frankie Valli though.

I don't know about the day I was born, but my dad remembers that "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones was popular when my mom was 8-9 months pregnant with me in Dec. '65/Jan. '66!

This is so cool, thanks! Choosing selectively, I'll take these any day...

My #1 song in the U.S was War by Edwin Starr in 1970. How appropriate.[V]
and in the UK - Tears of a clown by Smokey Robinson. Seriously ironic!!!

The day I was born:

U.S.: Baby Love- The Supremes
U.K.: (There’s) Always Something There To Remind Me - Sandie Shaw

I've never heard of Sandie Shaw, but is this the Burt Bacharach song later given a new wave-ish makeover by Naked Eyes?
