Bill Nelson-Early albums

Bill Nelson-Early albums

This was posted on a YMO mailing list today, but I have no additional details:

"While we're on the topic of Bill Nelson, the record company are reissuing Quit Dreaming, The Love that Whirls and Chimera on CD with extra tracks. Chimera is one of my fave Bill Nelson CDs. Just hope they get round to doing the same with Getting The Holy Ghost Across."

there's a fairly accurate tracklist for the 3 cd's (quit/love/chimera) on amazon.co.uk - it certainly looks like a feast in regard to the extras.
hoorah !

Are these remasters or just straight reissues? Can they really fit 24 tracks on Quit Dreaming..?

Can anyone comment about how Quit Dreaming sounds?
I have Vistamix and was wondering if it was along those lines, or for that matter any of the reissues.....are they similar sounding?
Thanks,
Bobby

Sounding the ritual echo came out just before Quit dreaming and get on the beam. some Bills first encounters with electro pop. less melodic and more experimental than later releases such as vistamix, Love that whirls and getting the holy ghost across are a little more accesible, but it's all good. It looks like the new re-issues really doens't have anything new but more remasterd with some extended remixes.

Got 'The Love That Whirls' today. Yep, only 64 minutes of music, and no extended Flaming Desire [:(]
