There's a new CD out of original and some covered Christmas songs by those late 70's early 80's jangle pop bands. I'm not sure if its all new material or re-issued. The CD is entitled: "Christmas Time Again" (c) 2006 by Collector's Choice. 30 second samples of each song are available at the Real Player Music Store (at least that's where I found it) I like how it sounds.
Here is the lineup:
1. Christmas Time - The dB's
2. Home for the Holiday - The dB's
3. Lonely Christmas - Marshall Crenshaw
4. Holiday Spirit - The dB's
5. Christmas Time is Here - Thad Cockrell & Roman Candle
6. Houses on the Hill - Whiskeytown
7. The Only Law that Santa Claus Understood - Ted Lyons
8. I Saw Three Ships - Don Dixon
9. Christmas is the Only Time - Wes Lachot
10. Christmas Light - Keegan DeWitt & the Sparrows
11. Santa's Moonlight Sleighride - Ted Lyons
12. Sha La La - Cathy Harrington
13. The Christmas Song - Alex Chilton
14. Christmas is Saturday - Don Dixon
15. Feliz Navidad - The dB's
16. Oh Holy Night - Peter Holsapple
17. You're What I Want for Christmas - Chris Stamey & Cathy Harrington
18. Silent Nocturne - Brent Lambert
19. It's a Wonderful Life - Chris Stamey
20. Snow is Falling - Chris Stamey & Mary Mac
