Notes:

The Individuals only lasted for a couple of years, long enough to release the Aqua Marine EP in 1981 and the full-length FIELDS the following year, but they're an important early part of the American indie underground. Produced by Gene Holder of the dB's, the jangly guitar pop of these songs was a huge influence on later bands from the Individuals' hometown of Hoboken, including the Feelies, Yo La Tengo, and the Wygals, formed by this band's brother and sister duo Janet and Doug Wygal. Singer Glenn Morrow later established the important indie label Bar/None Records, which released this comprehensive band history.

On July 8 comes the complete recorded output of the Individuals recorded in 1980-81,Fields/Aquamarine. The lineup, comprised of the bro-sister team Janet and Doug Wygal,Bar/None's own Glenn Morrow, and Jon Light Klages, recorded such regional radio hits as “Dancing With My 80 Wives” and “Walk By Your House.” They will be playing together for the first time in 25 years at Maxwell's Tuesday, July 22.
