The Tremblers / Twice Nightly on cd !!!!

[bosten]

Many folks on the "outpost" agree that Peter Noone's group,"The Tremblers / Twice Nightly" is one of the best Power Pop / New Wave
lps ever, especially for 1980 and Twice Nightly always pops up on someone's best list.
Well the awesome folks at Cherry Red Records have released, The Tremblers "Twice Nightly" lp on cd<a href="http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/bostenman/?action=view¤t=H9S32CA10YOYYCA7641TJCAIPOY7XCAOL6C.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/bostenman/H9S32CA10YOYYCA7641TJCAIPOY7XCAOL6C.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
a few months ago as remastered with a bunch of stuff added to the booklet like, rare pics, quotes from Peter Noone, lyrics etc....
The price was pretty high for the cd when it first came out,but Cherry Red have recently dropped the price to $9.95,due to the fact that Peter Noone is selling copies of "Twice Nightly" on his web site for $10.
The cd of "Twice Nightly" that Peter Noone is selling on his web site is pressings on the::SONY MUSIC SPECIAL PRODUCTS label from 1999,it
seems that pressing never got any sorts of promotion or announcement that it was on cd.
As always with "Sony Music Special Products",the cd of "Twice Nightly" does not have any liner notes etc...only the lp sleeve & i dont think it's remastered.
Also for all The Tremblers fans out there who were always waiting for a second Tremblers lp,Peter Noone's "One Of The Glory Boys" lp<a href="http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/bostenman/?action=view¤t=peternoone.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/bostenman/peternoone.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
from 1982,is actually the 2nd Tremblers lp according to Peter Noone.
The entire band from The Tremblers are playing/writing on "One Of The Glory Boys",but since "Twice Nightly" sold poorly, the folks at Johnston/CBS records felt that it was better to release the 2nd Tremblers lp under the name of Peter Noone.
According to Peter Noone recently,"One Of The Glory Boys" could come out on cd,depending on how well "Twice Nightly" sells.
Here's the link to The Tremblers "Twice Nightly" cd & a rare video announcing Peter Noone forming a New Wave band called The Tremblers.
