I highly recommend Plastic Box--its focus is on the early years (it includes almost everything from First Edition to Album), and it picks the right songs from the later years (and more or less ignores That What Is Not entirely). "Fodderstompf" (however that's spelled) is the only unfortunate omission; there are some good radio sessions and single sides as well. Funny liner notes too--more or less an interview with Lydon where Lydon isn't playing Johnny Rotten. I imagine it may be a bit expensive if you've never been interested in PiL, but if you kinda like them but never got around to getting their stuff it's worth it.

Any experts on the Plastic Box--the mixes of The Body and Warrior, do you know if they are the same mixes from the Greatest Hits so Far CD? Because I also have alternate mixes of both songs as b-sides: The Body remix on the Seattle 12", and a Warrior remix on the Happy 12". Anyone know if those are the mixes on the Plastic Box? Thanks in advance.

The mixes of "The Body" and "Warrior" on Plastic Box are different from the mixes on GHSF. The liner notes to Plastic Box don't say where they come from, so I'm not sure if they are the b-side versions. "The Body" is listed as the "US 12" Mix" remixed by Eric "E.T." Thornton but I think it's the edit used for the video. "Warrior" is the "12" Extended Version"; no remixer is credited but it's not the Dave Dorrell mix from GHSF.
