China Crisis

Is there a way we could get some kind of a petition going to see all of China Crisis's albums reissued with bonus material ? Maybe we should contact Edsel or Cherry Red ?

I'd want China Crisis remasters and bonus material to sound excellent, so I'd be leary if either of these labels got their hands on them.

Sad but true in too many instances with these labels.

Now we have to give both of these labels at least some credit. Cherry Red did a pretty good job with some releases as did Edsel. I'm sure that Virgin would have most of China Crisis's material in their vaults and could probably do it themselves.

I'd love to see the China Crisis catalog reissued with bonus tracks/remixes! What a great band.

True they have done some good discs, but you just never know from release to release what the quality will be. One can be very good, the next one a nightmare. So hopefully Virgin would remaster and add lots of extras for all the CC releases. I have a few b-sides, not too many, but I hear they have lots of them. I think i only have maybe three of the extra tracks. I'd really like to see more released with the remasters if they ever get around to doing this.

Would love to see their back catalogue remastered as well but i honestly cannot see it happening. Anybody after their b sides should seek this out http://www.discogs.com/China-Crisis-Col ... ase/932293 it has the vast majority of them but not all.

I believe EMI could do this easily...they could begin with a primer, the complete singles collection + DVD, a Sight & Sound release. The bands singles fit nicely on one CD, as I have made my own singles CD.

The B-sides fit nicely onto one CD as well, as I have created one myself, and their 12"s, mixes, etc requires two CD's.

With every other band under the sun getting the remaster/reissue treatment, there is no excuse why this brilliant band doesn't get its due.
