So who was into Ponch and John patroling the streets of LA mostly the Valley. And who was the Sargent's name? Can you still humm the Chip's tune. Remember the episode which they made a new wave reference to Devo and Pogo Dancing? How about the Skate Park episode.

I always wanted to start a chips thread but was affraid of ridicule from Philly. I remember Grossman doing the pogo and slamming into the lockers. I love that show for some crazy reason and cant wait till they come out on dvd. The sgt. was Gertrair played

Actually I think you hit it on the head. I think it was way corny but it was a big hit. I just remember that every show had at least 2 major highway accidents and cars always flipped over a ramp.

Yeah, I remember the awesome car chases and crashes too[:p]

I heard they were making a movie remake of it. Hope it's at least partially good.....

LOVED this show as a kid. Watched it recently for the first time in a while and man, it has not aged well at all, which makes it even more entertaining. I liked how during freeway chases all the other vehicles were traveling at half-speed to make it loo

I love this show too! I admit I have a problem with authority, yet I always looked up to these two.

On a side note: Eric Estrada showed up to a recent NWO get-together but I missed it [:(]

There was also a "punk" episode of CHIP's. A criminal punk band named Pain tried to blow up a battle-of-the-bands contest featuring the so-called "acceptable" face of punk - a new wave singer named Snow Pink. The whole episide was hysterical. I suppose it

I remember watching Chips every week for a long time. I remember the punk episode, too. It seemed like every show had one, even Quincy! When Erik Estrada was on the Surreal Life, I was surprised that he actually seemed like a cool person, even though h

I remember the first time i saw "Raising Arizona" with Nick Cage, recognizing the guy who escaped from prison with John Goodman was the guy who played Pain on that chips episode. Stupid TV, why cant i live without it [8D]
