Calling DayGloRadio.com Refugees

Postby DayGloJo » Mon May 16, 2005 10:41 am

Hi there everyone!

I good friend of mine who used to be one of my club/bar crawling pals during the 80s reccommended this tremendous site to me. Wow! Anything I'd want to know about the 80s music scene is right here.[;)] I love it!

Up until last week I was one of the hard core addicts on DayGloRadio.com.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with DayGloRadio it was a streaming alternative 80s music site. It not only had a live DJ but also one of the best online communities going, with forums and live chat room called "The Vortex" for fact that once you started shouting out on DayGlo you got sucked into it. [:0]

For personal reasons, I decided not to make the move their new site: RadioNigel.com

If you'd like to discuss DayGlo or just keep in touch with the old friends from the Vortex. Let me know. I'd love to hear from you. [:X]

I all moved in! Nigel leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They completely dicked someone that I call friend. Dayglo was a GREAT site and a BIG part of my life for the last year. NWO, I hope you can pick up the slack.

Deathlok has moved it!!

Just out of curiousity, is this Nigel's full-time job? How does he get paid? If it's a free station..

Ben,

I agree about Flashback Alternatives. I've listened to them on those occassions when the squirrels got into the DayGlo Radio server. [;)] Their playlist is somewhat similar to DayGLo/Nigel's.

Hello.

Thanks for the comments on Flashback Alternatives. We of course welcome those listeners from DayGlo.

I don't know the circumstances surrounding DayGlo's demise, but I am sure Steve will do well with RadioNigel.

I do disagree about the p
