Hey Miniluv,
No offense meant. This is a great place to aquire those "hard-to-find" songs...usually those that haven't been released on CD (as yet).
The more "common" songs, especially those that are currently on CD (somewhere in the world) can usually be found quite easily on any of the various Peer To Peer (P2P) file sharing networks, along the lines of SoulSeek..Kazaa, Shareaza, BearShare and others. The software for most is free, and really, it IS fun to go "treasure hunting," so to speak. I've found a wealth of awesome shared music via P2P over the years, and a lot of the "obscure" songs too. And heck, I'm with you on the saving money angle, P2P is another avenue of previewing before buying. Give it a shot, you'll like it!

Sorry if I'm a pain in the ass people....[:X][:I]
Hey Miniluv86 (and other newbies), no prob, just need to remind folks and the peeps so this doesn't become an unabashed grabfest (refer to following forum peeve).

<br>3. Agreed, if your going to request song newbie (and it almost always is), keep it under...oh, let's say 5 titles. Didn't mama teach you not to be greedy.
No secret hand shakes required just a PC or Mac with a min 1GB to share.
A broadband connex is also preferable though not absolutely necessary.

First off you will need to have to contact the hub administrators @hub_invite@hotmail.com to get access privileges and additional info.

Please refer to <a href="http://www.geocities.com/natephish/hub.html" target="blank">this link</a> for some step by step instructions.

NOTE: the current DC++ version is .674 <a href="http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dcplusplus/DCPlusPlus-0.674.exe?download
" target="blank">Get it Here</a>

Mac users can download a compatible client app <a href="http://shakespeer.sourceforge.net/" target="blank">Here</a>

Any FAQs can be found in NUMEROUS NWO threads (just use the site search feature and type in 'Hub' in the subject window.

Cheers![:D]

Do it miniluv - it's an astounding resource. My small music collection went from the bland to fairly awesome (in my opinion!) There is so much great stuff on the hub - you can't imagine.

Yeah, it would be even better if the hub administrators would respond to emails.

I was an original hub member, and I'm looking to get back on, since access has now changed. I've been trying for about a month now, but so far no response to emails.

Yeah.. Im surprised how many tracks people request without making a few searches online...
of the 9 tracks you have listed on this thread right now, I found 8 of them within a few minutes, mostly on Soulseek, but a couple were on the Hub. Happy hunting :)
