Two Nice Girls

Postby Dubito » Fri Nov 25, 2005 12:05 pm

This is slightly out of the date range for this group, perhaps, but I'm looking for songs from the CD "Chloe Liked Olivia" by Two Nice Girls, released in 1991. My ex's new thang stole my copy of it, and it's out of print. I do have a copy of one track, "The Queer Song," which you can download here:

I also have a song of theirs from a previous album called "I Spent My Last $10 on Birth Control and Beer." I haven't uploaded that one to YouSendIt, but if anyone wants it, I'd be happy to. Thanks for any help.

Yay! I love Two Nice Girls. I have their cassette of Like A Virgin, which is excellent--if I recall, they have a cover of Sonic Youth's "Cotton Crown" which is very, very good. I have the vinyl of Chloe Liked Olivia and, once I get this whole vinyl ripping thing figured out, I will send it to you.

Hooray! Another Two Nice Girls fan!

"I Spent My Last $10..." is one of the greatest songs ever! ("Life was so much simpler when I was sober and queer..." I'd love a copy, if possible..

Thefxc, you've got it! Here's the link:

Let me know if it didn't work for some reason, and I'll figure out another way to get it to you. Enjoy!

My Aural, thanks in advance for the future vinyl ripping. I greatly appreciate the help.

Dubito--

Many thanks. This brings back lovely memories of a summer wasted in Austin TX (where, I think, 2NG are/were from?) I've been looking for this song for awhile, so, again, thanks.

Cheers,
Fran

You're very welcome, Fran. And yes, my memory is that they were from Austin.

Anyone else out there have any TNG?
