Time to post our Soulseek handles again

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

I just installed the 156c client(ie not the test one), copied the .cfg files over(saves me TONS of time), and boom, I see people on again, most notably rubbeet, joe, ducky, and obscurenewwave.

Heck, it even had a message waiting for me from msk.

Just wondered if you guys ever got around to creating an "new wave outpost" room on soulseek. I just downloaded the software and got it going. I've added just about all of you to my list. My username is the same as here, fortyfives

Thanks,

John

Hey...I think I'm at SlSk as Lazzagain, but I could be wrong. Sheesh, it's been a while since I set it up.
Anyway...are all you folks using V156? There's that test version of 157 and there aren't a whole lot of folks on it as yet.
If anyone's interested in Gary Numan, I can post a bunch in my share folder, have other weird 80's too.

I have my client(156, I downgraded from 157) to auto-join the "New Wave Outpost" room. I have been the only person in there. It won't show up on directories since it's just solo me in there.

I had a little chat with Cee and Joe Rooftop a few hours ago. Nice!

If anyone else wanna enter the room and couldn't see it, just recreate it by typing "New Wave Outpost"...

I'm on as Numanoid.

If you're not aware of it, Soulseek names are case sensitive. So "Numanoid" and "numanoid" are two different accounts. Be careful.
