<br>Watched "Lady Vengeance" last night. Great movie - third of the Vengeance Trilogy, which consists of "Sympathy for Mr Vengeance", "Oldboy", and "Lady Vengeance". The director, Chan-Wook Park, makes terrific films.

anybody "lose" their tongue in this one?[;)]
btw I saw a Korean movie the other night "The Chaser"
a thriller that upset me quite a bit (as is the norm for virtually all Korean movies I've seen with the exception of "My Sassy Girl")

Lady Vengeance in less gory than the other two, but definitely has disturbing moments -- and the whole tone is similar to the other two. But there's an interesting twist on the revenge topic that's not in the other two.
I thought The Chaser was really suspenseful. It has some disturbing parts, but I thought it was well made.
I made the mistake of giving my stepdad "Memories of Murder" as part of his Christmas present. He had seen "13 Tasimat" (or however you spell it) on late night cable, and though pretty disturbed by it, he thought it was good. So, I'm thinking, now's the time to introduce him to South Korean movies. Nope. Bad idea. And I had almost sent him "The Chaser" instead. [:p]
