<br>Attention grocery managers:
Instead of having an employee that tells you which line you should get in, how about opening another register?

LOL That IS stupid! Do they realy pay people just to do that where you live?! XD I work at a grocery store and if an open lane has no customers, the casheir is ether to help bag if we are short on baggers untill someone gets in their lane, or else they stand in their lane and flag people over so they can get rung up. Nice and eficient as long as the cashiers aren't being lazy.
On that topic, I hate people who ask if the lane is open when I'm cleaning even though the sign for the lane is turned off. And then there's the fact that you have to walk through the room where we keep the shoping carts both to enter AND to leave the store... yet there are customers who insist on removeing their bags from their cart and leaving it right at the end of the lane instead of waiting untill they reach the cart room. I also am driven to the brink of insanity by the shit people buy with their welfare cards. Or the morbidly obese people who hog the handicaped electric carts and then buy nothing but junk food. Or women in name brand cloths and expensive looking jewelry/shoes/sunglasses useing welfare checks to buy their baby formula. RASE YOUR BASTARD CHILDREN ON YOUR OWN DAMN DIME.
I also can not STAND the people who try to make smalltalk with me about the weather.... especialy when we're BOTH OUT SIDE. "My god, you're soaked!", "Gosh, can you beleave this weather?" Jee, no, I can't beleave it... please, explain the weather I am experiencing to me. I am so new to the world. And then there's the ones who think they are flatering me when they pitty me and tell me 'They should have the guys out doing this!' No, they shouldn't. My vagina is not a disability, and if it were disability enough to where I could not perform the tasks the job requires, then I shouldn't be working there. I may have a shit job, but I have my fucking pride! Leave me to it! (Of couse, we are expected to grin and bear any indignity.)
Of course there's also the hot and sunny sunny days, then they'll say "HEY! 8D At least you get to enjoy the weather!!!!" No. No I do not enjoy the weather. Why do people who love summer weather think EVERYONE has to? I've even had people scoff at me or argue the point when I inform them that actualy I'm abnormaly sensitive to sun and heat and would rather push carts through a blizard or monsoon than trudge across hot asphalt, half blinded by the sun reflected back up by the shiney cars, bakeing in the heat radiating back up from the blacktop as my skin redens and tans under the glare of the sun, in humidity that makes me choke for air as I push large metal objects through a hellish maze of ignorant people who are more careless than ever because, hey, with the weather THIS nice, why shouldn't I languish in the sun while they cut me off to get one parking spot better than the next guy; and why SHOULD they bother to put the carts where they belong since they're clearly doing me a favor, giveing me an excuse to be out in the nice nice summer weather. Fuckers.
