I have the Luxury Condos Lp on the HUB if you are interested! What a cool record!!
I literally have the record at arm's length, but it really should have been released on CD.

I've tried to get information on how to get on the HUB, but apparently I haven't made the minumum number of posts yet.

Another non-CD gem: Robert Johnson, "Close Personal Friend".

No, not the blues guy. High-energy power-pop out of 1978 Memphis, featuring a young Blair Cunningham on drums.

I love the Modern Eon album, "Fiction Tales." I do not believe it is available on CD, but I could be wrong about that.

I already have that Breakfast Club CD, and IMO, it's damn good. I've owned it just about since it was first released.

Rave-Ups - Town and Country is on CD, maybe a bit hard to track down these days, but it is out there.

Fire Town - In The Heart of The Heart Country. I agree, this gem needs to be on CD (or at least re-issued if it ever was on CD). Doesn't make sense since their second release was on CD. I am happy to have that, and made a good CD-R of their first, but that first one would be great to get on CD. I've done searches, ebay, etc., over the years with no luck so far.

So why hasn't anybody come forward yet with Breakfast Club's second album? The Producers' long-lost record turned out to be awful, and they dusted the lid off that. (Don't even remind me of the shelved 707 LP that finally showed its face this decade.)

Surprised with whatstheirfaces in Garbage that Atlantic continues to sit on Fire Town. "Rain on You" was a pretty damn good song.

<br>It's an amazing album, I just bought a sealed copy on eBay for only $2.98 ... now if I can only keep it sealed [:I]
Oh, dude, that was you? I was looking at that auction! Then I realized the seller was Hard to Find Recordings. Who is an asshole. And incompetent. So I had to pass. (Ditto on the sealed Innocents LP he had up the same week.)
I couldn't resist, and I agree with you about the seller being a total jerk, but how could I pass up such a deal, arrived very quickly and in MINT condition, couldn't be happier, if he wants a future purchase from me, he is going to have to have something I really want

Ain't much of a deal once you factor in his handling charge. And, for me, NY sales tax.

But, here's the kicker -- was it actually new? I got suckered twice by him, because I didn't realize when he went on ePay that it was the same loser with the one-star rating on gemm. The first time, the LP was advertised as new. It wasn't. The cover was also a cut-out with a really ugly drill hole (he "forgets" to mention things like that a lot all the time, I understand), is too stupid to even bother to reshrink anything used he wants to dishonestly pass off as new, and had the nerve to tell me it was an import and imports are never shrinkwrapped (it was a fucking U.S. pressing!!), but at least he sent the right item, such as it was. Because the second time? Uh...

Apparently, he's "fine" to deal with as long as he doesn't screw up. Because the instant you politely (I'm always professional) notify him of a problem on his end, then the claws come out. When I asked him to send me a prepaid mailing label or PayPal me the $1.73 it was going to cost me to return the wrong item with DC (again, I'm still being professional), I got a sociopathic email back IN ALL CAPS that I'm trying to scam a free item out of him, and he sent the right item all along. I had enough of dealing with him by that point, and just opened the SNAD complaint and let PayPal deal with it. At that point, I think he figured out through his psychotic brain that he sent the wrong record, and I ended up having to return it anyway out of pocket, because that is how PP stupidly operates. (Yeah, I could have sent a piece of cardboard back to him, but I'm an honest guy.) Grudgingly, when he got it back, he refunded. No, I never got what I actually bid on and won, and that was the end of "our relationship." Two strikes, you're out.

Of course, I stuck him with a partial chargeback for the return shipping amount and left negative feedback for the disgusting email I had to read. And of course he retaliated, but I didn't care. His ePay feedback speaks for itself.

I already have a copy of "Vertical," so it wasn't a real loss. And going back on topic, I agree, that one definitely needs to be on CD.

I had an incident once with him too, as did a friend that bought from him, but like you said he fixed the problem, still jerkish in my opinion [xx(]

Mentioning a few other artists here:

The Mood
Language
Endgames
The Scars
Shock

And double-mentioning because they deserve it:

Trees
Hilary
Blancmange (aside from the best-ofs, that is)

And Industry's Stranger To Stranger isn't available on CD, is it? If it isn't, it bloody well should be. Hell, I'm surprised "State Of The Nation" isn't mega-popular now with a certain chunk of the American population.
