Who do you think were the top record producers of the time?

For me:
Brian Eno(BOWIE/taking Heads)
Treveor HORN (ABC/Frankie etc)
Martin RUshent(DARE)
Martin Hannet (Joy Division).[?]

I'm partial to Mitch Easter. REM, Connells, Game Theory, Lets Active (his own group), many others.

Morrissey: Vauxhall & I, Southpaw Grammar, Maladjusted
U2: Boy, October, War, Under A Blood Red Sky, a few songs on Achthung Baby. He didn’t produce Under A Blood Red Sky but he did help mix it and
