New VH1 Classic video show for wave & classic alt.

Someone sent this to me from a newswire. Starting on July 5th on VH1 Classic, they're doing a full hour of classic wave videos! [8D] Despite the name of the show which I know several of you will hate, still cool that they're doing this!

Yeah I'm starting to see some early 90s videos sneak in there. It used to be on ANY given hour block(except for 'metal mania') they played oddball 80s new wave videos and we liked it!

If there is a reason to skip the Independence weekend barbeque, this is gonna be it! Can't wait until the new show starts on VH1 Classic this Monday, the 5th! [:D] Let's hope it's as good as they hyped it to be. [:p]

I've had VH1 Classic for about two years now. I'm fairly sure the new show will just be the same 50 heavy-rotation alternative videos that they've already played to death. If you watch for about six months, you've pretty much seen it all.

Actually, I don't mind if they play videos from bands I'm not crazy about. I remember part of the fun in watching "120 Minutes" was sitting around and mocking lousy videos while waiting for the good ones to come on.
