Last NW CD you bought?

Postby fanciz » Thu Jan 26, 2006 4:44 am

Many dudes are into MP3 but I guess this doesn't prevent them from buying also some CD's. It could be interesting to compare what we bought lately.
For us in Manila, we can't buy what we want but what is available and we usually grab the new arrivals before they disappear for good. So this is what I bought this week:
The Go-Betweens:
Tallulah
16 Lovers Lane
Send Me A Lullaby
Before Hollywood
Spring Hill Fair
Oceans Apart
Liberty Belle And The Black Diamond Express

The Psychedelic Furs: Beautiful Chaos
Strawberry Switchblade:The Platinum Collection
B.Movie: The Platinum Collection
The Strokes: First Impressions Of Earth

Joy Division: Let the Movie Begin. It's a cheap Belgian knockoff that just came out. Interviews interspliced with non-standard versions of their more famous songs. Sound quality of middling with some of these tracks sounding better off my vinyl rips.

Last non-comp was Echo & the Bunnymen's Siberia.

I haven't bought any NW CDs in a long time. But if you count community property, my husband bought The Cars' "Panorama."

Yeah, I bought it also about 2 weeks ago together with the Singles NO and Siberia EATB. Actually I got 2 copies of Siberia coz I lacked one CD on my loyalty card to get a free CD and there was nothing else to buy. I guess I will sell my spare copy on ebay eheheh

Wow, I really don't buy many CD's at all anymore. The only things I've gotten recently are "Playing the Angel" - Depeche Mode, and "Retro:Active 4."
