Playing WMV/WMP on Macs

I got a questions about this. The easiest way is to download Microsoft's own Flip4Mac which allows you to play it inside Quicktime...

Blir, Flip4Mac is actually developed by another company. Micros$ft has given up and ceased development of WMP for Mac, which is of no significance, since it was a piece of crap on the Mac platform anyway.

For Windows, Windows Media Player got bloated after v6.4. You can still access the old interface, though, by running mplayer2.exe (located in whatever directory WMP is installed in) if you just want to hear music or whatever and not watch some disco light show.

PS. Windows users can also use "Real Alternative" or "Quicktime Alternative" with WMP. It saves having to install 100 different media players on your system [:)].
