I didn't even know they even existed until a few years ago. Luckily, my generous friend in DE got them for me as Xmas/BDay gifts from EBay. A couple of the cases are a bit thrashed but the music is just fine [:)].

I just noticed (after owning the set for a couple of years now) that the version of Someone, Somewhere is the regular LP version! Here's the extended version (taken from one of the Retro:Active compilations).

I normalized it (RMS) and added some silence to the beginning/end so that it would be consistent with the Themes tracks.

I pretty much own every Simple Minds release on Vinyl (everything before 'Don't You Forget About Me"-that is), and although 'Theme For Great Cities' (one of my favorite songs ever!) appears on alot of different release, I don't believe they made a proper "12" Mix" (read: extended version), if anything there may have been a shorter edit...and although the Themes set has alot of good stuff --- and the 'Silver' box set (which has tons of rare demos live tracks (the original version of 'Love Song' is a head scratcher!) -- does not have a different version of 'Themes for great Cities'

Obs, can you repost the Themes 2 collection? Looks like it was too large or the bandwidth was exceeded. These are great! I have a number of them on vinyl and never got around to digitizing them.

I've always been a big fan of (early) Simple Minds. I have almost all their stuff on vinyl and collected most remixes via LimeWire etc. but it is great to get them here in good quality again!

Two of my absolute favourites are the fantastic intrumentals "Soundtrack for every heaven" and "Bass Line". I have "Bass Line" on CD, but could you please post "Soundtrack for every heaven" in good quality?
