It's all a matter of taste I suppose. I can count the number of "good" songs by Oasis on one hand and the number of "great" songs by Blur on both hands and two feet. Oasis was pop oriented and Blur was not. Blur was original and didn't strive to sound lik

This is like the age-old Mac vs PC question. There is no answer, only personal preference.

Ha ha MyIrwin, how'd you know I was a Mac user. Been one since about 86 and right now have a good old but still very useful and beautiful G4 Cube on my desk and a PowerBook G4 12" Rev C for my main and portable use. And yes, PC's do <B>SUCKETH MIGHTILY!</

Lol, sorry Electriclash. I know with a name like "christsmasher" it's pretty easy to come off as harsh, but I assure you, it's more out of enthusiasm and passion. A few other music messageboards I post on are literary war-zones, so I'm used to going in

oooh, this is going to be tough. I like both.

I think Blur made 3 fantastic albums: Modern Life Is Rubbish, Parklife, and Great Escape. As well as occasional great songs before and after those three, but no complete album I like. I've never heard

Fact: No band could ever measure up to the Beatles.[:0]

But the Beatles & Oasis have one similarity (for me anyways). They both had catchy pop

I saw Oasis play live in their early days when they were still relatively unknown & touring local clubs. I didn't like them then, and still don't now...Mind you, I'm not that keen on Blur either. Damon looks like he's just finished school for the day and

Pulp is great! They are still together and cranking out great little gems like "The Trees" too. First time I've heard anyone else mention Pulp on this board. Good on

I guess I'm one of the few who went from Amiga to Mac to PC. I got fed up with Mac's when they had all the proprietary cables and I had to pay 49.00 bucks for a printer cable at the local "Apple" store. Not to mention the cost for hardware and software w
