Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had this album in mp3 format or if anyone wanted to guide me in the right direction (a link or two) towards taking it off of vinyl (have yet to do this ever) to avoid hours of trial and error. I picked it up in a discard bin from a college radio station... it's amazing. thanks!

I'm going to assume no one has this in mp3 format... So here goes nothing. I'm doing my first mp3 - vinyl conversion as we speak and it's sounding beautiful so far. Expect a link soon, woohoo... You guys will want to get this one... seriously... this album is the chillest album of a solo-guy in a midi studio playing a family of synths ever. You can't any information on this beside on the record as far as I know... here's the info now so I don't have to type it later.

Track Listing:

High Side:
pop
bush
urban
eastern
rock
world anthem

Low Side:
slave waltz
western
christmas
before the war
basso continuo

All music written and performed on MIDI ensemble by charles ditto except:
richard hardy - sax on 'western' and 'basso continuo'
terri ditto - bass steel drum on 'basso continuo'
john hill - fredericksburg cicadas on slave waltz

produced by charles ditto and terri ditto
recorded live july 1987 - loma ranch, fredericksburg, tx, usa, earth
engineered by john hill
mixed by charles ditto and john hill
mastereed by roger seibel - SAE mastering - pheonix arizona
design, artwork and titles by alison ditto
graphics, layout and brush lettering by dale wilkins
back photo by terri ditto
all selections published by human symphony music - BMI

special thanks to mom and dad for always believing, to terri for always loving, and to the power that BE for always...

a product of ditto records - p.o. box 49124, austin, tx 78765

THIS IS IT - NO TWO ARE THE SAME - THIS ONE HAPPENED LIKE THIS

... I dunno what he meant by that last thing... but anyway...

Well, Ditto records doesn't exist. I don't know if Charles and Terri Ditto are still on the face of this earth, but I really wish someone here had more info on them or this album because I really love it. Has anyone else hear heard it or have it or anything? Somewhere I've got a little letter that was in the sleeve that was like apple-writer-2 fake reviews of the album... gotta find that... well anyone feel free to post ... the link will be here soon...

Well... here goes nothing. As promised, here it is folks... In Human Terms ... 11 awesome instrumental tracks by ditto. These are in VBR Mp3PRO (highest quality... I dunno wtf why the bitrate is so low, still sounds good though....) and I cleaned it up extensively with audition... so without any more blabbering:

... feel free to comment/suggest/tell me what you think... this came from a really dirty really crappy version of this record so I think it turned out quite well considering....

If there's enough interest, and it expires... don't hesitate to ask for a repost.

enjoy!
