Julie Brown had a couple of other crazy tunes, "Homecoming Queen's Got Gun" & "Trapped in the Body Of a White Girl". I'd love to hear them again, too. Anyone? Thanks in advance....

That's the song BigBri...but that's not the version I remember. The version I heard was slower & had guitar parts.Thanks for that one. Anybody have the original?

The version you're looking for is probably that from her 1985 debut EP.

A new version was recorded for her full length album released two years later.

Correct. It was originally released as a single (A-side: "I Like 'Em Big And Stupid"; B-side: "Homecoming Queen's Got A Gun").

It was later released in 1984 on the EP "Goddess In Progress" (Rhino Records, RNEP610). As BigBri pointed out, "...Stupid" was re-recorded for the 1987 Sire album, "Trapped In The Body Of A White Girl." The single/EP version is far superior.

BTW, the '84 EP also included, "'Cause I'm A Blond," which got WLIR airplay, and "Earth Girls Are Easy," which was later turned into a movie!
