Hi erical,

They are CD-R and the person with whom I deal does a first class job on the sound and covers, he's the best!

Would be interested in doing swops, but it's unlikely that you would have anything I want, especially since I'm trying to move into the "black" area of 80's now.

In today's post: Rouen - Rouen CD

It's SO nice to have a backlog like this! [:D][8D]

Frank,

I bet you got this from your source too. I like their young for a day, shake and especially guilt! I have their full length "young for a day" orginal cd. When you say black area of 80s music, did you mean some obscure and underrated bands/groups in the eighties like, academy one, academy, after this, empire, endgames, fashion, the light, alternative radio, zerra one, etc...??. Cool!

No, the Rouen CD is an ORIGINAL.

It was released on Virgin through EG Records in 1987. Not the easiest of finds I grant you, but at £15 a bargain! [8D]

As for the bands you've listed, you're certainly in the right area. Though with Zerra One, bad U2 clones I can do without! [:D]

I just picked up The Riddle by Nik Kershaw on CD. I quite like the album. I mostly got it for the song You Might which was in the movie soundtrack of Secret Admirer.

Given to me by a visiting ex now based in Japan....

Specimen:Wet Warm Cling Film Red Velvet Crush

The good thing is that this CD includes the song Returning from a Journey, a new wave anthem which was among the very first batch of songs I listed down when NW albums were not yet available locally. Then I went to a small store named A2Z run by a Dude who happened to have some NW vinyl and he made my very first NW cassette eheheh

The moral of this story?
Always split nicely with your ex so that U will get free CD's once in a while![:D]

Finally I got my #1 target! Cactus World News: Urban Beaches, the remastered copy. And as a bonus, I also got their Single:Town Like This.
I usually buy CD's through the Paypal accounts of friends but I have now decided to go CD hunting all by myself. The sad thing is that after having bought so many CD's on ebay, I still have 0 feedbacks, they were all credited to my friends accounts!
I feel SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NAAAAAAAAAAAKED![:D]
