I think Adam Ant had a pretty good run of bit parts in the late 80s, stuff like Nomad.

Sting sucked pretty bad in anything he touched - Dune, Brimstone & Treacle, The Bride, ugh!

She was also in Hairspray.
And Iggy Pop was in another John Waters film, that one with Johnny Depp and that underage porno queen traci Lords. Was it called Cry Baby?
I swear the lead singer of Fine Young Cannibals was in at least one movie, but I can't remember what it was called or who else was in it.
Ricky Martin. Hey, he was in Menudu before General Hospital, so it counts.

Hazel O'Connor.
Bill Paxton.

and most recently, I see Jamie Foxx (who was excellent in Collateral) appararently sings now, too.

Phil Collins starred in an episode of Miami Vice.
And John Taylor did a cameo in another episode.
Frank Zappa ... Gene Simmons ... probably lots of other musicians in Vice.

Oh yeah, I was watching Airport 75 the other day and Helen Reddy was in it [:D].

Boy George was on the A-Team. Does this mean he's an actor, too? I mean, he acts like he has a career anymore. [:p]
