Editors

Postby creep » Thu Mar 09, 2006 6:36 am

I recently bought Back Room and am in love with Editors. I knew they were coming by New York so I wanted to check them out but they're SOLD OUT. How are they sold out when their US CD hasn't been released yet? I don't know.

Anyone going to their shows? Any fans?

Very very popular of late. The import's been out for a while and I got shafted for nearly $30 on it a few months ago. I'll be seeing them at the SXSW festival next week with the Brakes on earlier.

Really? I wasn't aware they were. Good for them! [|)]
Have fun watching them at SXSW, I'm going to try to get tickets to Webster Hall or Warsaw somehow...

I'm seeing them with stellastar* and The Mobius Band on the 21st. I'd rather see them with The Brakes - oh well.

Higher Ground in S. Burlington, VT. I'm so fucking stoked. So few decent acts come through here as you can tell by this load of boring hippie crap:

Built To Spill on 4/30 though. [:)]

Wow, Burlington, amazing!

BTW, is anyone else as sick of this new sig as I am? This is the third time I've tried a different sig and I just get sick of them each time. Too damned confining. How the hell do you sig-people stand them? Anyone wanna buy this one? The guy who's using "I dig whales", "I shit you not", or the rotating "6" monkey trick can't possibly think people enjoy seeing those anymore. [}:)]

I love the Editors big time! Munich, All Sparks, Fingers In The Factories.....AWESOME. There's also a limited edition version of the album that comes with a bonus disc of more auditory treasure. If you can get your hands on that, you'll be happy. The lead singer sings with a conviction and controlled ferocity akin to Ian Curtis. This is the higher plateau of vocal consciousness which I refer to as OWNAGE. The Editors are going to Burlington? If there any tix still available, I should drive up. NYC's sold out [:(]

Oh and Blir, try a smaller sig! You don't want to distract from the legibilty of your post. It has to be able to work with small blocks as well as large blocks of test. With that in mind, maybe you ought to design something less detailed or complicated. I've just been going with simple keyboard symbols partly out of laziness and partly out of not knowing what I really want to do. Plus, a really groovy environmetal message never hurt anybody [8D]

That would probably an excellent show.

Anyway... of all these bands, I'm staying with Interpol... best sound, image and production.
