My vote goes to Jack Black -- I think he'd be a hilarious asset to the 1980s. He's goofy, funny, a misfit and I can totally picture him in a bi-level haircut. Plus, since he's a musician he could probably do some of the soundtrack for a 1980s movie.

In music, Karen O and the gang. Imagine a double bill with the likes of X or Siouxsie?

In movies, how bout Michael Moore? He could rail against the conspiracies of a rightist government led by a perceived ill-qualified cowboy who he despises due to hi

I could really see Scarlett Johannson-for my money pound for pound -the most talented young actress in Hollywood in a John Hughes or other 80s teen flick-Or better yet in a movie directed by Martha Coolidge (Valley Girl-Fast Times at Ridgemont High)

I can see Angelina Jolee being a total new wave singer or a punk. She is nuts! She could be like a sexy lead singer.

All the Electroclash acts, lol.

Especially Fischerspooner. You can tell Casey Spooner is all about the Klaus Nomi.

Jimbo, why do you say Gwen Stefani is easy to dislike as a person? What did she do? (Sorry I don't keep up with all this gossip, I just thought she was so cute as Jean Harlowe in the upcoming movie "Aviator" about the life of Howard Hughes -- it's not out
