Hey Phillyidol- have you ever seen the movie Stag? McCarthy actually
plays a bad guy in it. He did a pretty good job in the role - I know I wanted him dead. This film is also notable for co-starring Taylor Dayne as a stripper (unfortunately, she doesn't

No I never heard of stag but now I'll have to look for it. Taylor dayne! I remember when she was first starting out she used to hang out in a bar in Brooklyn. I used to see her all the time. But she was unknown then.

My answer to the Pretty in Pink question is Ducky, no contest. I actually have the soundtrack on lp. I used to play it all the time.

I wonder whatever happened to Jamie Gertz? "Less Than Zero" and "The Lost Boys" and then she more or less dissapeared (the last thing I saw her in was a lousy 90's flick called "Jersey Girl"..not to be confused with the 2004 Kevin Smith film).

Dude! She's on t.v.! She has her own show on cbs. It's about her and her husband and kids. I think it's on monday nights before or after everyone loves ramond. She still looks pretty good. And the show is not bad. Got renewed for another season. I don't h

Jami Gertz was also the snob Buffy in the early 80's show 'Square Pegs' which also starred Sarah Jessica Parker and Tracy Nelson as the token Valley Girl.

They need to release that show on DVD...

The original ending of the movie DOES have Andi and Duckie winding up together at the end, as does the Scholastic Books novelization. When John Hughes test-screened the movie, the audience of mostly teen-aged girls reacted negatively to Andi's choice of

I also heard that John Hughes made "Some Kind Of Wonderful" in response to all the people who were disappointed that the Pretty In Pink movie was different from the book.

And I can take Eric Stoltz but I hate watching googly eyes Andrew McCarthy. I can't stand him, but the movie was great.
