I love Marshall Crenshaw and consider his brand of jangle pop to be part of New Wave, tautologically, because our local new wave station played it, and we "wavers" liked it, ergo it was new wave. Poor logic but autobiographically makes sense.

To this day, if I hear Taco, I change the station. You said it better than me. CHEESEBALL! I hear he sells taco's now.
