I am looking for some cool instrumentals to use as background music on my radio show. My favorite ones that I use currently are "Evan" by Jan Hammer (Miami Vice), "Antilles" by Midge Ure, and various Giorgio Moroder tracks (Cat People, Midnight Express). If anybody has anything, I would sure appreciate it. Hutter, you seem to be The Man around these parts, so if you can help as well, I'll be sure to add you to my mailing list so you recieve all future Wolfe-Man mixes (Volume 8 will be ready in about 2-3 weeks) Thanks everyone!

I wouldn't say I'm "THE MAN", but I do have a lot of shit to share. Give me a bit, and I'll dig up some instrumentals for you. Do you want just new wave instrumentals? I have some fantastic nearly impossible to find guitar instrumentals that you might like.

The beginning of the Psychedelic Furs' "All of This And Nothing" is a super cool instrumental, IMO--takes up half the song (I love it after the vocals start, too).

Human League had tons of great instrumentals. I freakin' love them. Their recent stuff (especially the instrumentals) are great too. I'm posting up some common and not so common instrumentals on the "Electric Dreams" blog me and some of the kids here have thrown together. Feel free to leech off of them. Thats right. The last Human League album had 6 or 7 really good instrumentals, most in the 2-3 minute range. I use those on the show too. Very upbeat and synth-heavy, which I love...

I've always fancied Jeff Beck, in particular his 'There And Back' album from 1980 featuring Jan Hammer on keyboards
