Seems some seem hostile and unhappy, but don't fear there's always a light at the end of the tunnel if you want it.

I feel that I'm in a great place in my life, but I will only start sharing after some others do, so let's share ;)

Things are ok now for me... maybe with the exception of the love-relationships department. But I'm really happy about my life since I've left high school and my new friends... who are great.

Ain't that just like a woman.

Okay, I gripe a lot, but I really have no right. I have my health, my business is growing, and outside of some family drama, nothing is going too bad. Things could alwas be better, but they definitely could always be worse. I can't say I'm happy, but I am content. That's good enough for now, at least.

I have my health, work's going well, and I don't want for anything. Things are better than I have any right to expect. The only thing holding me back from TOTAL happiness is having to deal with the not-so-occasional idiot. Then again, abusing morons brings me great happiness so it's a catch 22.

Every year I do Shakespeare in the classroom (Macbeth for the seniors and Romeo & Juliet w/ the freshmen), the issue of Fate vs. destiny comes up...you know, the whole diea that in that time period, people believed that the stars totally dictated your fate....
....anyway, we always get a great discussion going on that. Most of the kids believe a bit of both.

I believe that you are totally and completely in control of your life and all your choices. YOU make the calls. You can choose the life you want, and if you believe "fate" rules your life, well, then, it's easy to blame when things aren't great in your life.

I am absolutely happy with my life and my choices. I always chose what direction I was headed, and created a life of happiness for myself based on what I truly wanted. No compromising for me. That included travelling the world, helping others where possible, moving to a positive, sunny place, and waiting a long time to get married. It's all about your own choices.[:)]

Keep going.

I'm making a list (and checking it twice) of all the happy people -- 'cause I'm staying out of the way of those with their knickers in a twit.

Life's too short to deal with internet crazies jumping down your throat all the time.

I like the phrase Electric Motors used about not wanting for nothing. I agree there ... have my health, a great guy who treats me like a goddess, I love my career, who I am as a person, the things I've accomplished and people I've met along the way ... it's all pretty damn excellent.

I recently met a best girl friend too -- I never had that kind of connection before, it's amazing.

Okay, let's hear more ... and elaborate as much as possible.

Where's Dear God? She's really happy and positive and inspirational.

And I bet KYY will have something awesome to say :)

Just in case there's any confusion - I guess you can put me on the "happy" list but I'm sure I don't belong on any "nice" lists. They are two entirely mutually exclusive things. In fact, I credit a lot of my happiness to realizing that a large number of people are complete pieces of shit and just aren't worthy of respect or anything resembling kindness. [:D]

I was gonna say something, but I'd merely be paraphrasing motors.

I don't know a damn thing about where she is. I was just puzzled by mare's statement. deargod always came across to me as a disagreeable sort. Does this site have 2 deargod's? If so, nevermind.
