I know this isn't a new wave song, hell, it's not even a good song. But I need the Japanese version of this song (aka Daisy Chain) to complete a custom "Revenge of the Nerds" cd-r I'm throwing together.

Bwaahahaah classic Hutter.

I shit you not: the other day I was thinking "I wonder if anyone has the song they performed on-stage near the end of Revenge of the Nerds" ... I take it you have that as part of your ROTN cdr?! Hope you find the Japanese song (is that where he is that mini-bike race and booger keeps feeding him beers?!) [:D]

I am actually thinking of doing a similar thing the for the 80's UK Series "The Young Ones" .. but I am pretty sure someone has already done this. If you know of one, I'm interested!!

I had to rip the Tri-Lamb rap off of the DVD, but it sounds good. I have every track from the official LP, plus "Burning Down The House" (thanks, mechi!), "Thriller", and "We Are The Champions", and I'm putting sound bites from the movie between the songs. It would be nice to have a "Flash Gordon" like quality to this soundtrack. If there are any songs I'm forgetting, someone please let me know. And I will not burn the cd-r until I have that F-N Bicycle song! Aaaaggghhh!!! (TM, if you need the track "House of Fun" for your Young Ones cd-r, let me know.) If this Revenge of the Nerds cd-r idea is ever finished, I'm tackling "Full Metal Jacket" next, sound bites and all (it'll have to have a parental advisory sticker on it).

That sounds like it's going to be a quirky and cool little cd Hutter. Glad you have the Tri-Lam song!! "Clap your hands everybody.. everbody clap your hands" (chuckles thinkign about the movie) [:D]

I have House of Fun, thanks. I have a few of the other songs already. I have a feeling some of them may be hard to get .. like "Eleven Plus Eleven" by Nine Below Zero. Hmm Myabe I should make a list and try my luck here for the more obscure ones (though they probably are not that obscure in the UK)

Here's a decent version of the rap:

And here is a not-as-good version of "Takashi's Song."

Thanks, gofhcf! That's probably as close as I'll ever get to having that Takashi song, so it's going on the cd-r (and the dialog on it is funny anyways) I guess I can throw the "Revenge of the Nerds" playlist up on my blog, and start working on the "Full Metal Jacket" one.
