While y'all are debating about internet protocal, Jimbo's likely building some doohickey that will revolutionize vinyl ripping, chugging back a cool tall one, or taking a dump. Whichever of these he's doing, I'm sure he doesn't give two shits about this horse-shit. Why would anyone think he was scared off? Dude probably just got burned out, or had something better to do with his time than argue with folks he don't even know.

It's a cool site, but it's just a site. It's not the end of the world just because someone quietly leaves. I understand Philly's sentiment and share it, but it was a bad call for him to bring Jimbo's leaving out in public.

I don't understand why you're so puzzled. It seems you've laid down good groundwork for yourself - go with it. I'm saying Mike's asking this self-policing of everybody in general. Have you gotten a lot of gagging messages or deletions? The only things that have been cencored are violations of other peoples' privacy and of posts by one banned person who persisted in trying to return just to harass, post grossly crude material, etc. There may have been a couple of modding errors out of thoursands and thousands of posts and a couple of cases of glitches and an identity hijacking that led to a deletion (like the Frayo thread but that loop has hopefully been closed), but that's it. We're not here to moderate content within the rules of the user agreement - that's not our reason for existence. It's only to protect agains the extreme stuff.

Otherwise, the group as a whole will put in their 2 cents right?

I share the views of many different people on here...including yours, Blir's, Philly's etc..... on 95% of things. I have always been open that I find Andy to be real interesting and I think he is a riot. I am not ashamed to say it. He has his ways and I have mine. He doesn't need me to support him on here or take up his cause. I am a loner by nature so I don't align myself with anyone. I don't feel victimized or gagged by the mods. I feel that people are simply not very thick skinned around here and make something out of nothing while others go too far. All I am saying is everyone lighten up a bit.... are my opinions "dangersoulsy" close to getting me on your shit list or anyone elses? Who gives a toss?
