Here's my contribution. It's a track I picked up from a German website about five years ago. I have the whole album on CD, it cost a few bucks but I'd say it's worth it.

Don't know anything about the band though, except they were on a French record label.

Let me add my second. It's another Cherry Vanilla track from her first album "Bad Girl." It's called "Liverpool" which I assume was inspired when she, Wayne County & some of the Max's Kansas City crew moved to the UK to join in on the early punk scene.

She also does a shout out to her original back-up band members - Stewart & Sting....

My 1983 "Falling" LP by Blue Peter is in rough shape and when I ripped it I fear I may have overprocessed it.

Everyone knows "Don't Walk Past", but the rest of the album is pretty good. This is "All Your Time".

Michael Moers 1990 solo "Kissing Le Fish" is another very cool release from the Telex frontman. Has Telex all over it and the whole cd is like a missing telex album.

I'm pretty sure the guy repsonsible for the music on Sleeper in Metropolis was David Harrow, who made some of the most interesting music of the 80's. The guy also had a few kickass hairstyles too.

Whoever it was that posted the band "Pointed Sticks",thanks a bunch.What a good song ! I cleaned it up a little,encoded in a lossless format,and am jamming to it again on the headphones [:D]

I'm so tired from a massive case of insomnia right now but there are so many good tunes posted here I cant go to bed.Everyones contribution helped me compile a great cd-r full of tunes.Thanks to all[:D]

Here's #2 from me...

Johansen was a Canadian artist who released one album in 1987 and sounded a bit like Eddy Grant. He was a producer who worked with many artists like Grant as well as Martha & the Muffins, Nash The Slash and others and went on to work with Mick Jagger on his Primitive Cool album.
