Do any of you remember the old Aldo's. Before they redid the whole thing and made it look like a soda shop? Soon after Hitsville closed down?

It was really strange. It used to be an old man bar, and if I remember correctly, had some GoGo action at time

YES!! I remember the OLD Aldos -- I saw the Stranglers play there. I always snuck in when I was underage. Aldo found out and he used to chase me and my younger sister at the door. It was so comical. We were sooo proud when we finally reached

Few folks remember the old Aldo's! I remember the lights! Do you remember the DJ that looked like an alien...I believe his name was Brian. He was a great guy for sure!

Yep, a real old timer here! I do remember Brian. He always played Japan and Bowie for me. Then Bruce had his funky soul nights.

What was the restaurant the owners had before the Loop -- not Dish, that's new, no?

I can't remember the name of the restaurant either, no matter how hard I try, guess thats our age beginning to show! I know it's not "Dish". Remember the vintage clothing store that was on Main Ave a couple of shops down from the restaurant?

YES!!! Now I know the restaurant you are talking about -- I believe it was called "Eats You Want." They had carrot juice and chocolate egg creams. I was only there once.
