Obscure Early 80's Wish List

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

Frank,

I didn't mean to offend anyone - I thought it was common practice to do this here. Did I not offer to trade/reciprocate? Isn't "trading" part of this Forum Title ..."Obscure80's/MFV, CD-R's & MP3 trading"

Why do you dislike people trying to find obscure music? You sound rather childish.
[/quote]

It is and I have helped people find obscure tracks and posted many songs that people have wanted and would be of interest to the forum in general. Some of my recent posts and sends have been both Music For Pleasure albumbs on here and the 7 and 12" versions of "I Will Return" by English Evenings through e-mail when someone has asked me for them. I just dislike people posting shopping lists and saying "send me these".

I don't dislike people trying to find obscure music and have helped many people with requests in the time that I've been on here.

Gosh, that's really childish of me isn't it? < rolls eyes >

Any other character assasinations you want to do without proof of people on here while you're at it? [:(]

Frank,
I just dislike people posting shopping lists and saying "send me these".

Well, that's fine. I have a problem with that also. Exactly where did I say that in my post, though? And please be specific.

Also, please wipe away your tears regarding my "character assassination". Typing a response like this....."I've got a few of those but since I dislike people who post shopping lists of songs, go whistle" deserves to be called what it is. Childish. Exactly what was your point besides being just plain mean? Why did you think I'd want to know your feelings on that? Did you think I "needed" to hear that? Or, did you think I "wanted" to hear that. I'm curious. My point being, if you don't have something nice to say - shut it.

Kind of like saying, "I've got what you're looking for, but I dislike you, so you can't have it. na na na na na". That's childish.

If you don't like being called childish, Frank..........can I suggest maybe not acting like it?

The length of your post consisting of your many and varied requests shows this, with just about the only thing missing from it is a four-pack of world peace.

You ignore the point I made about all the tracks I sent people in my last reply because it doesn't fit your viewpoint and call me mean despite the evidence to the contary, curious.

You accuses me of being childish, yet tell me to shut it at the end of your diatribe, nice oxymoron.

Bonus points for the tantrum throughout this, especially the whining rhetorical questions bit in the middle, very Woody Allen.
