Ok, time to share my love for some rarities with you:

First is a tune by a German band called Channel 5 "For a look in your eyes". It's not really obscure but possibly only few of you have heard of em. They sound a little bit like 83/84 Spandau Ballet. Kind of romatic - with a great saxophone solo! [8D]

A shiny jewel is the end title music for a Chuck Norris movie called "Code of Silence". For those who don't know, Chuck plays cop Eddie Cusack trying to stop a war between two rival drug clans. Although the movie is kind of bland David Frank composed a marvellous funky/groovy soundtrack which fits the cop movie like a glove. The strings at the end kick ass! One of my all-time favorites and not easy to find.

Sorry I can't help on those tracks Bateman, but I like your's. They're both in a similar genre. What would you call this style? Not really new wave right?

Hard to tell. I didn't notice that similarity before, but now that you've said it...

It's just a kind of lush produced and relaxed dreamy music with that typical 80's feel. Suggestions, anyone?

No help on your requests, but I enjoyed the Channel 5 song. Not NW, but I confess I like just about every type of music in the 80's.
