A band called Bond released a song called Take a Walk on the Rainbow in 1987 but im not sure what they sound like. I believe they were German. If you do a google search of the artist and title you will find links to the record for purchase, but not much information.

Hi,

I'll try to find it somewhere to listen to, but it's more like 'slipping away'... thank you anyway.

'Bond - Take A Walk On The Rainbow' seems to be very close to it! It should be possible to get the single somewhere. I'll let you know if this is a match...

[br]3.) The refrain of the 3rd song is 'Our love' (it's not the one of 'The Outfield'). Male vocals, sounds bombastic, reminding to Rick Springfields 'Dance this world away'. This unknown song is also released in the late eighties.

Is it possible that the title is "All Love" by Ziggy Marley ?

It appears on One Bright Day from 1989.

Just a shot in the dark.... hope this helps

Hi,

thanks a lot for your help. Unfortunately, it's not the song I'm looking for (although it's also a great one :-).

Bond - Take A Walk On The Rainbow!!!! That's it! Crimsor, you're great! Many thanks!

One song is solved, two remain unsolved:

2.) Slipping Away - one suggestion is Slip Away by Ian Lloyd, but I couldn't check it so far.

3.) Our Love - an Indie/Rock song with a bombastic sound

I think No. 3 is not Ziggy Marley. It's not a Reggae song. But thank you for trying!

Now I know that it's not Ian Lloyd. Thanks a lot for your help.

This thread is some months old, may be there is someone new in this forum having an idea...

No, I wouldn't say so. It seems to be a 1982 country song, but I'm looking for something which is more a late eighties progressive rock song. Thanks a lot though.
