Well, I guess I will supply a review for this terrific show!

First off, I was utterly surprised to find the place packed, Joe's Pub can only approximately fit 200 or so people, whether or not everyone was there for the show I can tell you the fans were surely there last night.

Being the big Lene Lovich fan I am, I can proudly say she still has it, everything from her voice, looks, and character. The show seemed to go very fast but with an amazing encore and a chat with the audience it was quite a treat at the end.

Her and Les really blew the roof off that small pub. The only thing the show lacked was a drum kit other than that and the fact Les broke a string, hehe ... it was quite a good performance overall.

During the time Les was getting his guitar fixed, Lene was left on the stage and was fooling around with the synthesizer, it was very funny to see Lene playing with the synth and trying to make little songs up as the show went on.

I really hope to see her return again next year, as she said there will be a chance she will come around again. If so folks please don't think twice and just go this time and check her out. By the way her new material is simply amazing! I totally love "Wicked Witch" and "New Craze"

PS. I was the dude with the Depeche Mode shirt, just incase anyone from the board was there last night [;)]

Thanks, Justin/DevoManiac101

A lot of newer stuff and obscure tracks / B-sides from her early days. I loved when she played "Sleeping Beauty" though, was quite a shock. Bird Song was quite a surprise as well

Oh and of course Lucky Number. Though .. I was really hoping for more tracks of the Flex album as well as Blue Hotel

The first Lene tune I ever heard was New Toy, and I think it's still my favourite. Did you take any pics at the gig?

Thanks for the review. You made those of us who couldn't make it really jealous.
