Favorite Dub?

Apparently, New Order were kings of the Dub!

I like Duran Duran's dub of "Is There Something I Should Know". Roger Taylor is really banging away at those drums!

I was never a big fan of dub versions. I think I got turned off to them when I bought the 12" single of "London Calling" by the Clash, thinking I was getting 3 non-lp songs, but all it was was "Armageddon Time" and 2 dub versions of the same song. Ugh. And all the dub versions that are on "Sandinista" didn't help my opinion change any. As far as favorite dub versions go, though, the Bananarama song mentioned by DevoManiac101 is one of them, as is the dub version of "Avenue B" by the Major Thinkers.

...as a dj back in the 80's i'd play "police & thieves" by junior murvin a lot, just to confuse the local clash fans "...oi? wots this copy of a clash song wot you playin?"[;)]

how about echo dek/primal scream... that's pretty good dub - although not as good(or awesome) as "gone to croatan" by jah wobble - that's one song that always knocks me sideways!

I always liked the Intacontinentalballisticmix of Intaferon "Get Out Of London," which was, essentially, a dub mix.
