I used to say Duran Duran until I bought "Astronaut".....good lord, what a wasted opportunity for them and a wasted $15 for me. I wish they would just call it a day or make another Arcadia album.

I really wish Alan Wilder & the guys in DM would make up & reunite. "Exciter" was anything but. "Ultra" had its moments, but it's not the same.

Yazoo would be great, as both Vince Clark & Alison Moyet are not doing that well on their own (projects). Also would love to see the Cocteau Twins reunite again and make another great album !.
And Depeche Mode would go down well if they would stay true to there roots and do some bloody good 'a-la' "Enjoy The Silence" stuff (don't like the new single 'Precious' at all).
Most New-Wave groups (Soft-Cell, etc) are (or have been) reunited, but until they come up with the goods i will stick to stuff like Goldfrapp..... (Supernature is one HECK of an album !!).

Two songs on the "Astronaut" cd are pretty good -- "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise" and "What Happens Tomorrow"

Secession can't reunite as their lead singer passed away a number of years ago.

Shriekback - the original lineup of Barry, Dave, Carl & Martyn - put out an EP last year called "Having A Moment" - though from what I understand - at the moment - only Barry is carrying on as "Shriekback".

That "Having a Moment" EP is well worth getting, though.

How about Split Enz, I know Neil and Tim Finn have an album out as the Finn Brothers and have toured. So putting the Enz back together wouldn't be too far of a reach, of course minus the drummer who comitted suicide not that long ago.

The Beatles...
You could have Julian take John's place, and Danni take George's [:D]

The Smiths! Wow, now that'd be something. Not that it'd ever happen as Moz is such a control freak, but we can dream.

A non-NW band I'd like to see reunite is The Stone Roses. They were destined for greatness.

As for Duran Duran's last album, I love that album! From start to finish it's fantastic! Only one song I skip - Chains - and even that isn't too bad. Would love to see them in concert.

I always skip "Bedroom Toys"; I can't take that song. But I do enjoy this album quite a bit...it grows on you, and the songs are tightly composed. The non-album cut of Jason Nevins' version of "Reach Up For the Sunrise" is even better--a techno workout extraordinaire.

XTC - all five members of the band (Andy, Colin, Terry, Dave and Barry Andrews -later of Shriekback) and then they should tour.
