"It's a fine line between stupid and...clever."
--David and Derek; "This Is Spinal Tap."

All other movie quotes must bow down to that one.

Repo Man has a number of memorable lines:

Debbi: Duke, let's go do some crimes.
Duke: Yeah! Let's go get sushi and not pay.

Miller: John Wayne was a fag.
All: The hell he was!
Miller: He was, too, you boys. I installed two-way mirrors in his pad in Brentwood, and he come to the door in a dress.

Duke: The lights are growing dim Otto. I know a life of crime has led me to this sorry fate, and yet, I blame society. Society made me what I am.
Otto: That's bullshit. You're a suburban white punk just like me.
Duke: Yeah, but it still hurts.

Leila: What about our relationship?
Otto: What?
Leila: Our relationship!
Otto: Fuck that!

gspot--love your name! [:p]

Repo Man! Great movie! I love the running gag of the generic products with white labels and simple black lettering. Like when Emilio Estevez is eating from a can of "Food".

"I'm not in the business. I am the business."
Rachel, Blade Runner

"Dry hair's for squids."
Jack Deth, Trancers

"Perhaps he knew, as I did not, that the Earth was made round so that we would not see too far down the road."
Karen Blixen, Out of Africa

"I heard things..."
Jake Lamotta, Raging Bull

"It's not the years honey. It's the mileage."
Indiana, Raiders of the Lost Ark

"Doesn't anyone fucking knock any more?"
Brad, Fast Times

"Goddamn dipshit Rodriguez gypsy dildo punks! I'll get your ass!"
Bud, Repo Man

Jack: What is that?
Egg: Black blood of earth.
Jack: You mean oil?
Egg: No, I mean black blood of earth!
- Big Trouble in Little China

And possibly my favorite from the 80s for sentimental reasons...
Waggener: Any regrets?
Gardner: 'Bout what?
Waggener: Certain women.
Gardner: I've never been serious about anyone in my life, you know that.
....cutaway to dream sequence with Carole King's "It's Too Late" soundtrack.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984)- remember..."No matter where you go, there you are"?

On the B-52's Cosmic Thing there is a song called The Girl From Imponema goes to Greenland. Towards the end of the song they sing a line that goes: "Remember where ever you go,there you are."

I've changed the name in accordance with my total self make over. It's just the start of BIG changes for me. I'm switching from crest to colgate, parting my hair on the other side. I'm gonna quit dangeling my participles, start wearing more plaid, have everyone at work start callimg me "throat warbler mangrove" AND START TYPING EVERYTHING IN CAPS. yeah big changes.

Really when I originaly started using this message board back in the late seventies, their used to be a moderator with the user name "eno" and thought there may be some confusion, and since you no longer see him here AND my "hensoneno" user name was getting too well known with some problematic aquaintences , hence the name change.
