I had a few, but I think they were mostly K-tel albums. I used to make a lot of mix tapes on 8-track.

I really hated how they would fade a song out in the middle and start it up again on the next program!!!

I had a New Wave compilation on 8-track...it kicked serious arse!!!!

It was called "The Beat" and was a K-Tel release I believe. It had a black and white checkerboard on the label, and featured The Go-Gos, Duran Duran, Haircut 100, Billy Idol, and many more...can't find that compilation online hardly anywhere.

Back in '81, (the year I graduated high school)I had a '69 AMX with a Pioneer 8-track player. It sounded darn good for an 8-track player. I had the following New Wave 8-tracks:
