New Order are still babes in the woods compared to the greediest rock star on the planet, David Bowie!!! This year he's got a triple-disc "Best Of" coming out for Christmas, hot on the heels of another sampler called "The Collection" from earlier THIS YEAR!!! Let's not forget his double-disc "Best Of Bowie" compilation from 2 years ago which was also available at the time as a single disc (with different tracklistings for each continent) and then promptly repackaged in 2004 with a DVD and then AGAIN in 2004 with a bonus disc of remixes (which was promptly issued seperately as "Club Bowie"). Got all that? Back in 1997 he had two hits comps divided into eras (and still available at most fine record stores) to replace "ChangesBowie" on Ryko, which was basically a single disc version of Changes" volumes 1 and 2 from the 80's. I think at this point Bowie's "Hits" CD's are equal to his actual studio albums. New Order have a LONG way to go...[:D]

BTW: Bowie owns and controls his catalog so it's not the fault of a record label.

Yes, the Bowie GH collections are a joke. As for NO, what is the definitive GH collection? Do they have a box set that is fairly complete?

Also, ayone notice the Talking Heads "Brick" coming out with all of their original releases on dual discs with new material and videos? This is a very cool, definitive release in a great package.
