songs about indian summer...

Postby bpdp3 » Tue Oct 04, 2005 7:47 am

Here in upstate NY the weather has been suddenly warm again the last couple days - - feels like indian summer. I've always loved it when you've had a stretch of colder days and then you get a string of unexpectedly warm sunny days; it's like one last chance to kiss summer goodbye.

Do you know any songs about or that mention indian summer? The only two that come to mind to me are Dream Academy's "Indian Summer" and the indie group Pedro the Lion's "Indian summer". There have got to be others. Can you think of any at all?

The Belle Stars did a song called "Indian Summer". They have a 2-CD compilation out, it's available on that.

Thus bpdp3's original statement: 'The only two that come to mind to me are Dream Academy's "Indian Summer" and the indie group Pedro the Lion's "Indian summer".' [;)][:D]

There's a classic indie-pop song by Beat Happening called "Indian Summer." It's been covered by numerous artists, most famously Luna.
